STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My collage work is a visual expression of how I see life: abstract fragments, bits and pieces of colors and shapes that float, clash and connect across two dimensions in front of me. Geometry first and color forward, each collage is a filter for making sense of the world we live in: jumbled shapes stand in for jumbled feelings, and jagged lines represent uncertainty over how to move forward. Undertaking this work within a constrained shape or panel creates a boundary\u2014a structured environment to safely record my response to the disjointedness of our current history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
