STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worlds can exist and thrive without barriers. That is why I chose the phrase \u201cDreamtime Becomes Reality\u201d where the constant and profound realms of potential, magical journeys can become inextricable and sacred. From this richness comes the variety of my collages and, as a result, lead to unexpected discoveries and lightning twists. I simply need to keep my eyes, heart, and mind open and hands always ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a self-trained collage artist using the most basic and traditional tools: scissors, glue, canvas board, and a very wide selection of old magazines, revues, books, and brochures. In 2007, I was diagnosed with a large brain tumour which required two surgeries and re-learning movements, talking, and seeing. Through my collage work, I wanted to explore and challenge what my eyes and body were capable of after some dramatic changes. Also, I initially called my practice Journeyart because my work goes wherever I go and I have moved at least 7 times since my surgeries: to the United Kingdom, back to the U.S., to the United Kingdom again, and now France since 2018. I have exhibited in the U.S., London and Oxford in the United Kingdom, Italy, Amsterdam, Paris, and Zurich. I have also been published in art books, revues, and e-zines. I am always deeply grateful to these organisations for furthering my images and to my images for their constant instruction and rich companionship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
