STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is my first venture past the mundane, beautiful, artsy images expected of a good Christian girl. I have been cutting up magazines since I was small. Everything I do must always be perfect…until now. Nothing is perfect and no expectations of such warrant belief. No expectations of such allow for the true beauty, diversity and complexity of humanity. I use magazine images, tape, my iPhone apps and Photoshop to complete my images. Life beyond perfection is extraordinary.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

I am a self-educated, personal experience-driven artist. I do not have a career as a professional artist. I have no awards or major art accomplishments. I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin. and I have a degree in Criminal Justice. My obedience to Calvinistic Christianity, my subsequent submission to and escape from an abusive husband caused me to endure a 9-month clinical depression 9 years ago. I am finally able to express my experiences and my new beliefs.<\/p>\n
