STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m interested in surrealism. I use collage to express my thoughts. What are my thoughts? It is imagination.<\/p>\n

Most of my work is digital. My first collages were analogue. I’m using old scanned photos and then give them new life with new ideas of mine. I’m inspired by the great painter Rene Magritte.<\/p>\n

BIO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alexander Nikolov is from Sofia, Bulgaria. He was born in October 1987. He has been interested in photography since 2006. He studied photography in Sofia, graduating with a Master of Art. Since then he has focused on contemporary photography and, in recent months, in minimalistic photography. He uses both digital and analog cameras. His work has been selected for photographic exhibitions and contests.<\/p>\n
