STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My art is a fundamental part of my journey. The creation starts in my morning ocean swim, after meditation, or even during my tarot readings. The way I found to befriend my shadows is to get curious,
be mindful of my body and feelings, set my intentions and face the collage as a sacred ritual. I practice what in Buddhism is called \u201cDharma Art\u201d. Every element you see in my work has an intention which came from deep contemplation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My work uses a mix of digital an analogue collage, markers, scratching tools and gold leaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the colourful and boundless universe of collage, I found the perfect contemplative and healing practice: something bright and fun to share and also to help me develop personal and spiritual awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabio Borges is a Brazilian contemporary collage artist based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His unique style is always collage (digital-analogue), made out of his collection of selected photographs, drawings, religious icons, and comic books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He sees himself as an explorer who dives into the shadows, the lights, the ugly and the beautiful parts of the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
