STATEMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tend to use a lot of planets and Hubble space telescope photos as backgrounds for my collages. Then I build my landscapes from there. At times I call them “emotional landscapes”, as the 1900s black and white characters I use in them always portray a variety of “emotions”, usually my own at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve been a mixed media artist for 30 plus years and a collagist for probably 10 of those years. Living in the Midwest, I have the pleasure of being surrounded by beautiful lakes and woods and I often find these as themes in my work\u2026visionary landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
