Cut Me Up<\/em> is a participatory magazine of visual call and response founded by Andrea Burgay. Each issue presents a call\u2014a curated selection of original collage images that will become raw material for reader-artists to respond by cutting, reconfiguring, and transforming them into new artworks. The newly created responses will form the content of the next issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most recent issue, Cut Me Up Issue 12: Eros<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0curated by Allan Bealy, is a selection of 18 artworks that explore the realm of eroticism. The erotic is not merely synonymous with sex, but rather encompasses a range of human emotions and experiences integral to creativity. For this issue, artists were asked to imagine their own erotic landscape through the medium of collage while incorporating elements from Cut Me Up Issue 11: Souvenir<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the thoughts, dreams, anticipation, unruly impulses, and even painful memories which make up our vast erotic landscapes.
