HISTORY <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wilder Collage started as an Instagram account to highlight different artists working in collage and grew into a more formal group. Artist Elyse Jokinen is the founder and their website includes a list of the first 30 individuals<\/a> that joined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MISSION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The mission of Wilder Collage is to increase the visibility of collage and collage artists. To build skills and connect with the community and the world!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASSOCIATION <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are just over 40 members. The members are from all over the world, and of many different ages and skill levels. It’s an incredible community of supportive, talented artists.<\/p>\n\n\n

JOIN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If an artist or creative wants to get involved, they can sign up through their Patreon page. Once they’re a member, they have access to the recorded calls and all the live calls moving forward. If becoming a member isn’t right for them at the moment, they can still follow along on Instagram and tag their work under #wildercollage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEY ACTIVITIES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The group hosts two virtual Zoom calls each month. One is hosted by a leader in the collage community and one is a studio call where each member gets to share a bit about what they have going on in their art practice. There are also Instagram Live interviews, a directory of artists, and blog interviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group has had calls with hosts such as Kike Congrains, Nancey B. Price, Twiggy Boyer, Miss Printed, Heather Polk and more. They’ve also been featured in Contemporary Collage Magazine<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
