Sea Wonders: Carolyn Shapiro and Deb Fleischman

at the T.W. Wood Museum, Montpelier, Vermont, USA
28 May-24 July 2026

On view in the Nuquist Gallery, “Sea Wonders” is a joint installation by Vermont-based artists Carolyn Shapiro and Deb Fleischman celebrating their deep connection to the ocean. 16 vivid textile collages created by Carolyn Shapiro feature the diverse inhabitants of the ocean. Kelpy, an immersive ribbon display created by Deb Fleischman, simulates a kelp forest guests can walk through. These combined works form a visual and sensory experience of a world underwater.
