These minimalist collages use material from the Eighties and Nineties. Reid pairs women in undergarments with floral fragments and mounts the pairings on scenes from nature. Reid was born, raised, and lives in Rochester, New York, where she studied Psychology and Fine Arts at St. John Fisher College and SUNY Brockport. Her artmaking is deeply influenced by frequent childhood trips to art galleries with her mother and an interest in astronomy from a young age. Before collage, Reid\u2019s work in photography and painting focused on finding comfort in nature and in close relationships with others. In 2020, her collage work was shown in four exhibitions. In April 2021, she was a resident with the Dear Artists Project.
