The artist was born in Cleveland, Ohio, September of 1973. He traveled with his family as a boy, moving from Ohio to Olean, New York to Steilacoom, Washington. Bryce credits these early childhood explorations for deeply influencing his artwork and life with a love of adventure, independence, and travel. Courtesy of the artist.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After graduation, Bryce traveled extensively in the American West, seeking adventure, the great vistas of the Hudson River School and the Luminist painters. In this transitional period Bryce worked as a wood turner, snowmaker, letter carrier and painted in his spare time.
