Montreal artist Daniela Akerblom has worked in theatre, film, and television as an actor, production coordinator, and set photographer, but now she focuses her energies on collage.<\/p>\n

Ariane Fairlie profiled Akerblom in an Artist Portfolio in Kolaj Magazine<\/em> Issue 11.<\/p>\n

In Bacchanalia<\/em>, Akerblom takes a more critical stance than A Dream Within A Dream<\/em>, examining the habit to drink rather than address our loneliness or feelings of inadequacy. Once again, the collage circles clockwise around the page, ideas playing off of each other like \u201cwithout you there would be no way\u201d, \u201cthe 1 and only elixir\u201d, and so on implying a reliance on alcohol.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
