“We don\u2019t plan issues of Kolaj Magazine<\/em> around a theme. Melodies emerge from the zeitgeist and we make connections between distant writings,” writes Editor Ric Kasini Kadour in Kolaj<\/em> #18. “Assembling this issue of Kolaj, I was struck by the magic of the collage community. And there is no better time to acknowledge that community than right now.” Kadour’s editorial tells the story of how the articles in the current issue came together, and what he learned about “collage community magic bringing people together.”<\/p>\n

“The sense of community surrounding collage is a source of strength. And now, more than ever, we need to acknowledge that and welcome others into this beautiful collective.”<\/em><\/h2>\n
