Courtesy of the artist.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FROM KOLAJ 29<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Crissy Arseneau&#8217;s Artist Portfolio<br>Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crissy Arseneau describes herself as someone who \u201coften strives for order but only occasionally finds it.\u201d The hard edges and tight compositions of her \u201cCloud City\u201d series come out of a period of experimentation with abstract watercolour. Cutting up these studies led her to the sense of order she was looking for. She writes, \u201cCollage is a practice of limitations with unlimited outcomes. The limitations I\u2019ve set for most of my current work is watercolour paper, both left unpainted and hand-painted with watermedia, that is then hand-cut and assembled. Danielle Krysa featured her on The Jealous Curator in December 2018. Arseneau\u2019s work is held in private collections in North America and the United Kingdom. She is a member of the All Together Artists Collective and lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.
