My collages are an invitation to plunge into a universe where each fragment of image finds a new resonance. In an assertive figurative style, I play with textures, colors and compositions to create scenes that are both familiar and strangely offbeat. Each element is carefully chosen and placed with a clear intention, as if each piece of the puzzle were telling its own story before becoming part of a larger narrative. This attention to detail gives the works an undeniable visual force: the eye is drawn to the juxtaposition of textures, to the strangeness of certain associations, to the ability to create meaning from the fragmentation of the original images.
One of the most striking features of my work is this tension between realism and surrealism. Although my compositions remain figurative, they move away from the faithful representation of reality to propose visions in which elements telescope and interweave in unexpected ways. This discrepancy creates an atmosphere that is sometimes poetic, sometimes disturbing, as if I were offering an alternative view of the world, a view that doesn’t simply observe, but questions and transforms. The narrative aspect of my collages is also noteworthy. Each work seems to tell a story, or rather to invite the viewer to imagine one. There’s often an element of mystery, something unspeakable that leaves room for interpretation. This openness to subjectivity is one of the great strengths of my work: I don’t seek to impose a message, but rather to arouse an emotion, a questioning, an intimate resonance in the viewer. In short, I master the art of collage, exploring both its aesthetic and narrative power. My work bears witness to a singular way of looking at the world, a way of cutting up, recomposing and reinventing reality with a subtle yet powerful poetry. My work reminds us that the image is never static, that it is always in motion, ready to be deconstructed and reassembled to tell new stories.
