STATEMENT

Each collage is a piece of life revealing itself. Its intimate vibration is insufflated by the circumstantial inspiration floating by during the creation process. While the selection process of the material is calling upon both an intuitive approach and some kind of rationale, the research is all along aiming at finding the unique elements that will unveil some kind of truth. I first respond, without any conscious direction, to the calling of the images. And it’s only when laying them down side by side abandoning myself to the call of the material that the true meaning of the piece takes form and comes to life. That is when the piece becomes an entity of its own.

After years of exploration, I can go so far as to say my work clearly shows my deepest concern for the “inscape” of human nature.
