STATEMENT

I’ve always been drawn to the quality of photos from the late 50′s, 60′s, and early 70′s. There is something very real and yet very subtle about those photos. Being able to manipulate and re-arange them is something that I take great joy in. My work is intended to please the eye and rather than tell a specific story, I hope to evoke a different response from each viewer depending on their experience.

BIO

I’m a self-taught collage artist out of Charlotte, Vermont, USA who has been been refining my craft over the last several years. I work mainly with magazines from the 1960′s, tape cassette covers and cases, and acrylic paints. I’ve participated in multiple group shows (including “Three for Two” at Computers for Change, Burlington, Vermont, February 2012) and am currently preparing for a group show in Provincetown, Massachusetts, USA at the Rice Polak Gallery in September 2012. Outside of art shows, my work has been used for concert posters and album covers.
