STATEMENT

I am drawn to surreal imagery: fragile, solitary figures adrift in fractured or dreamlike landscapes. These settings become emotional terrains, capturing feelings of alienation, disorientation, memory, uncertainty, and transformation. They reflect both the external chaos of the world and the quiet unravelings we experience within. Rather than telling linear stories, I seek to create atmospheres—spaces shaped by memory and imagination, where the familiar takes on a strange, dreamlike charge. My collages often circle themes of loss, isolation, metamorphosis, and the search for meaning amid destruction and change. My hybrid process merges digital sourcing, hand-cut assembly, and digital refinement. The works are rephotographed and finalized as high resolution digital images, preserving the texture and intimacy of their origins. Each piece can be reprinted in various sizes while retaining its layered complexity. The resulting images dissolve linear time and drift between past, future, memory, and myth. They inhabit the tension between the virtual and the tangible, the enduring and the fleeting—worlds of disorientation where perception itself becomes unstable.
