STATEMENT

Hand-built collage art. Materials are in their original form, gleaned from magazines and books. Cut and paste of a delicate imperfect nature.

Think kindergarten art, but I drink grownup hot stuff while making it.

BIO

In 2001, I started Local Wisdom Cards, a greeting card company of my collage art. My son, who was fourteen at the time, sold his electric guitar to pay for the first printing. Starting with six designs, I began by selling them in a couple of local shops and the farmer’s market in my hometown of Stowe, Vermont.

Twelve years later, Local Wisdom Cards have been sold in over seven hundred brick-and-mortar stores and museums. In April 2013, I sold Local Wisdom Cards and moved to the ocean with my love to begin living the life I have portrayed in my art.
