STATEMENT

For me, collage is all about the journey and the joy of the creative act. I work intuitively to create random and abstract compositions using found materials and acrylic paints. In many ways, I am guided by the materials and mediums that I use – each piece emerges through the process and only takes on whatever meaning it has when it is finished. I like to create works that can withstand multiple viewings, revealing elements and details on a number of levels.

BIO

I’m a designer, photographer artist and speaker based in the UK. I’m also the creator and publisher of a one-man creative independent magazine called Else (www.elsiemagazine.co.uk) which was voted one of the top ten new magazines in the world by the prestigious publication, The New York Library Journal. Collage is one of my passions. I’m also a street photographer (www.lesjonesstreetphotography.com) and a creative director working with businesses on developing the brand and communications.
