Mara Thompson STATEMENT Currently I am working with vintage and found images. I gather my materials and allow Serendipity and the Muse to play. Each artistic mark is a variance in language. My practice also includes drawing, sewing, acrylic and oil painting. Making art is engrossing and stimulating, adding meaning to the daily business of living. BIO Mara Thompson lives and works in Southern California. She exhibits her mixed media works in group shows and is a member of Women Painters West and Collage Artists of America.
