STATEMENT

Suzanne’s art is an exploration of spontaneous, intuitive energy as it arises in her body. She attunes to a clear and strong urge to create and follows the impulses, her own natural rhythms, which ebb and flow. Her art ultimately expresses her own true nature; a nature which is inherent in all of Life. Suzanne’s images are non-objective, emotional, personal expressions and yet they also transcend the personal. Her markings are an inner language she continues to discover on her unique journey in being alive.

Suzanne layers found and created papers, and often adds marks, paint, oil pastels and other materials in a single image.
