Allan Bealy is a Canadian graphic designer and collagist, living in the sovereign state of Brooklyn with his wife and two sons. He has been active in publishing two arts magazines: Davinci in Montreal in the mid-1970s and Benzene in New York through the mid-1980s. He has had solo exhibitions in Montreal, New York and Sweden, participated in multiple group shows and has had two collections of his collages published: Mud Bath by Black Scat Books in 2013 and Papercut by Redfoxpress in 2015, as well as his self-published 35 Chairs. Bealy spent 25 years of his life as an advertising art director and dedicates his current art practice to collage and mixed media projects. Bealy’s collage, Bright Tie, was featured on the cover of Kolaj #5.
