Shattered Flow

Shattered Flow

by Markus Schwander

In Shattered Flow, Markus Schwander deals with aesthetic questions of the landscape by exploring different landslides in Canada and Switzerland. The results of his investigations are collages which do not aim to represent the actual appearance of the landslides, but are attempts to make movement imaginable. The book presents a series of images and texts by Franziska Glozer and Annamarie Bucher in English and German. Reflections on artistic research by Markus Schwander and an index of the collages on landslides produced between 2008 and 2016 complete the survey.

Markus Schwander’s The Frank Slide Show #34 was featuring in Collage Artist Trading Cards Pack 5.
