Untitled-#1-4 is a series of handmade books that use found materials along with found words to interrogate how arranging the fragmented pieces of everyday life may spark new resonances where they are least expected. By gathering vibrant materials and words found in magazines, the artist creates new visual and literary poetry, prompting the reader to reconsider what may seem common and obvious. Through a restrained, minimal palette and subtle, poetic visual gestures, these books generate an experience of focused looking and direct, concentrated thought.
