Linda Dohoo STATEMENT Earlier collages are primarily paper based. Recent ones utilize scraps of metal, pieces of plastic, wood, and whatever else I see lying around on the streets. Artistically recycling. The background surface for some of the images of my work was provided by my husband. BIO My artistic career is really just starting now. Over the years, I have taken courses in stained glass, mosaics, drawing, and painting, all in Toronto. I started creating collages 2-3 years ago. Several pieces have been exhibited and sold at Latitude Gallery in Toronto. For the past two years I have been focusing on painting. My current work blends painting and mixed media styles.
