Rebecca Lieberman
15″x11″; mixed media collage: vintage and handprinted papers on watercolor paper Rebecca Lieberman STATEMENT My work combines collage, monoprint, hand-painted paper, and image transfer into small compositions where cutting and layering paper becomes a way of painting–building up fields of color and abstract shapes found in images or cut by hand. I lead with intuition and play, combining elements of painting, printmaking and other marks with collage. BIO Rebecca Lieberman is a designer, art director and collage artist based in Brooklyn, New York.
