STATEMENT

Humor and surrealism have an important part in my work.

It is inspired by books and magazines from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s and has a strong nostalgic atmosphere.

I like to create a whole new imaginary world by just putting 2 or 3 different images together.

Making art is a very important and necessary part of my life.

BIO

Rudi Snauwaert lives and works in the small village Dentergem, Belgium. He started as a comic artist and published different books and was featured in several magazines under the name “Willi Bibiani”.

At one point he got bored of comics and discovered the unbelievable world of collage.

He has never stopped collaging since.
