Cat and Paste Club

HISTORY

In August 2019, Dafna Steinberg launched Cat and Paste Club, a collective of artists using cat images. In the first year, each month, Steinberg would email the members a single image of a cat and each artist was tasked with using that specific image in a collage. Steinberg would repost those images on Instagram on Caturdays throughout the month.

MISSION

The Club has grown to a group of about fifty members and each month artists produce incredible works that represent their signature styles while also paying homage to the group’s favorite animal.

JOIN

To participate, you can reach out to Steinberg through email or the Club’s social media accounts to be added to the monthly email list.

KEY ACTIVITIES

Monthly Prompts
The prompts have recently evolved into a theme, sometimes a suggestion of cat images to use, but the members are invited to find and use their own images now, rather than being limited to the ones Steinberg sends out.
