Silvio Severino: Bambis, Slugs, & Other Cosmonauts
at the Laneway Gallery in Cork, Ireland

Silvio Severino explores the possibilities of collage on his new show, “Bambis, Slugs and Other Cosmonauts”. Using found photography and a surreal sense of humor, he assembled both analogue and digital images to comment on the impact of social media, sexuality and consumer society, as well as his love for music.

Silvio Severino, aka loop_conspiracy, is a multimedia artist working with collage, analogue and digital, experimental filmmaking and illustration. He is an active member of the collage community and has exhibited his work in festivals, group and solo shows around Europe. Severino created the poster and trailer for the Indie Cork Film Festival and Pride Cork. His work has been published in blogs, magazines and books. He likes to experiment with found photography, assembled images and print media in general. Originally from southern Brazil, the artist now lives in Cork, Ireland.
