“Bardo”: Group Exhibition on Contemporary Collage
1-2 April 2017
“Bardo” is a group exhibition on contemporary collage curated by Sarah Wölker.
Create an arbitrary plan.
An imperfect Möbius, a roaring silence, punctured lines, bordered space.
Synchronization without pulse, contemporary, simultaneously, long and short.
Perception of time that is manipulated without reference.
Between a snowflake and spitting embers there are individual units of scales.
Between end, beginning, death, birth–there is recontextualization.
You can’t measure reality.
How does time resist the impositions of uniformity and coherence?
Artist included: Lara Minerva, D.M Nagu, Jorge Chamorro, Armand Brac, Chrisitian Elixman, Patrick Fuerli, Lydia Emojotzeties, Aline Helmecke, Isabelle Reytmeier, Niels Klak, Kai Holland, and Taher Jaoui (also at Jaoui’s Kolaj Magazine Artist Directory page HERE).
