BIO

Born in Leamington, England in 1969, I grew up in Toronto, pursued a BFA in Visual Arts in Montreal and later earned my Masters in Painting in San Antonio, Texas. I attended Central Saint Martins in the United Kingdom for Cutting Edge Design and Set Design and The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City for Costume Design. I am a contemporary artist with an experimental approach to costume/set design, and art direction. I explore, probe, and invent about human identity at the intersections of cloth, the body, nature/science and technology. My work has traveled nationally and internationally to art fairs, film festivals, biennials (Florence, Italy-award winner), and in solo and group exhibitions. I teach various art courses and art history at The School of Architecture & Art at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont.
