Budapest, Hungary

HISTORY

The studio was founded in 2018 by a trio of artists: Katalin Baracsi, interior designer and owner of artKraft Industrial Design & Interior Studio, Andrea Kovács aka Kurszán, collagist and journalist, and the German-Hungarian collagist, Susanna Lakner. They have organized workshops, collage meetings, and projects for the community. The location of the workshops is at artKraft, specialized in upcycling, refurbishment, and redecoration of old industrial furniture. The participants work with old magazines, posters, photos, ephemera, and wood pieces from the carpenter atelier of the company.
