Glufinger Press Launches Line of Collage T-shirts
As part of his Glufinger Press project, Justin Angelos recently launched a line of limited-edition heat transfer T-shirts featuring original hand-cut collages. Currently there are two designs, both by Angelos, but soon he is adding two new designs by John Vochatzer and Michael Tunk. Angelos’ plan is to get other collage artists involved and possibly doing one-off designs of original collage so that each shirt is different. Glufinger Press also makes scarves featuring original hand-cut collages by Angelos. T-shirts are $25 and scarves are $125.

Readers of Kolaj may already be familiar with Justin Angelos’ work. Kolaj reported on several group shows Angelos participated in, including Joy Gallery, F+ Gallery, CES Contemporary and the Chicago Urban Art Society. Kolaj also presented an “In the Studio” about Angelos on kolajmagazine.com in 2015. “When environment, materials and process collide the possibilities are limitless.
