“Greater Than The Sum: National Collage Society Annual Exhibition”
The Metropolitan State University of Denver Center for Visual Art is hosting the annual National Collage Society show, “Greater Than the Sum”, through 24 January 2015. All the work in the show was required to include glue and includes paintings that incorporate collage and digital collage. The work of 91 U.S. and international artists was juried by Janice McDonald, collagiste and director of Spark Gallery, Denver; Marilee Salvator, Associate Professor of Art at MSU Denver; and Cecily Cullen, the Center for Visual Art’s Creative Director. Pavel Zoubok, gallerist and founder/director of the International Collage Centre, was the exhibition judge.
Several artists familiar to Kolaj readers are featured, including Joe Castro and Lili Francuz.
