John O’Donnell

HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT, USA

John O’Donnell’s art practice consists of installation, video, performance, print, and works on paper. He has exhibited in the U.S. and Korea.

A portfolio of O’Donnell’s collages appears in Issue One where Ariane Fairlie writes,

Many of O’Donnell’s collage works feature muted tones and a strange interplay between form and meaning. He uses collage as a means to investigate concepts of contemporary existence, addressing products offering a wide variety of features to consumers, for example, the mobile phone/camera which can be used in a number of different ways. O’Donnell believes that collage is an important metaphor for human cognitive experience.
