Exhibition Review: Dispersal
at Rainmaker Artist Residency in Portland, Oregon
“Dispersal: Mail Art Show” was curated by Jason Berlin and Veronica Reeves. The exhibition took place at Rainmaker Artist Residency in Portland, Oregon, 5-30 October 2016.
Veronica Reeves and Jason Berlin organized an exhibition of mail art at Rainmaker Artist Residency in Portland, Oregon. “Dispersal” brought together thirty-eight artists from around the world and the art on view, hung from twine strung criss-cross through the gallery, included a great deal of collage.

“The act of receiving is just as important. I can’t help contrasting the reception of a tactile piece of mail to a digital post on social media. The former is more likely to yield a thoughtful reply, the latter too often results in quite the opposite.” -Veronica Reeves
