The Atlanta Collage Society is proud to present “Building Reflections: Contemplations in Collage”, an exhibition that explores the relationship between the built environment and the individual through the medium of collage.
The exhibition features a diverse range of works that are united by the theme of “Building Reflections”. The artists use a variety of techniques and materials to create compositions that are both literal and metaphorical reflections of the structures that surround us. The collages on display range from abstract compositions that hint at the forms of architecture to figurative works that depict the human experience within the built environment. Through the use of layering and fragmentation, the artists create a sense of depth and complexity that invites the viewer to contemplate their own relationship to the built world.
