Czech Collage

at Galerie kritiků (The Gallery of Art Critics) in Prague, Czech Republic
2-28 June 2020

This exhibition contains a selection of artists who either deal exclusively with collage or with their mixed media expression showing an interest in the specifics of collage. The show features the work of Jan Miko, David Kolovratník, Michal Cihlář, Michal Cimala, Klaudie Hlavatá, Alžběta Jungrová, and curator Jitka Kopejtková. The collage on display is closely connected with the “aesthetics of industrial or consumer waste” and takes inspiration from pop culture, street art, and post-conceptual art.
