The artist writes, “I have been intensely interested in collage for years. Having studied the mind-body connection and its powerful influence on health, I have been even more captivated by this art form and how its ability to stimulate the brain. By immersing the viewers in an unknown and surprising context, it challenges the mind and keeps it vibrant. This new series of collages question the cycles of life, death, decay, deconstruction, and rebirth. For my work is about metamorphosis, transfiguration, renewal, and ultimately redemption. The collages may take you to new territories, where day dreaming and childhood reminiscence are allowed and even encouraged.”
