Halime Yurdagul: “Journey”
20-27 May 2017
Halime Yurdagul’s strongest influences come from the renowned explorer and scientist Piri Reis, as well as Christopher Columbus. Yurdagul’s work is a way of cherishing and keeping alive civilizations of the past in the memory of the people. She was recently awarded the Talent of the Future Award for two paintings that were exhibited at the Qube Open Art Show. Additionally, her early works had numerous successes at events organised by the Turkish Radio and Television Agency (TRT). The award-winning works were shown across Turkey. Her works were also presented at the Turkish Sports Agency “Olympics” competition and were exhibited at the event’s Olimpiyat House.
