“Kool Layed”: Curated by Jason Ostro and Phil Santos

“Kool Layed” is an exhibition exploring the art of collage and layered painting. The Gabba Gallery is filled with layered images and artistic translations as they take on the transformation of the deluge of visual and experiential input we receive daily. The showing embraces several artists to create a vibrant, layered, inspired feel chauffeuring you into the imaginations of artists such as Hope Kroll and her meticulous crafting and cutting using vintage sources, Jimmy Ray Flynn and his layered textures and iconic cinematic images and HERO with his painstaking cutting and layering.

Other artists in the show are Amy Smith, Anyes Galleani, Brad Reyes, Cantstop Goodboy, Cody Bayne, Essi Zimm, Gianni Arone, Jaime Becker, Honey James Johnson, Jeffrey Gillette, Jennifer Verge, Keith Dugas, Karl Jungquist, L. Croskey, Lauren Mendelson-Bass, Len Davis | Contemporary Artist, Mary Hanson, Michelle Waterman, Natasha Carvoska Art, Patrick Haemmerlein, Rafael I. Delgado, Jr., Steven Janssen, Teodor Martin Dumitrescu, LOUDLABS, and Toshee Art.
