Massimo Nota STATEMENT I look for coincidences between different languages. I approach different worlds to create a new one. I use old magazines, old books, my drawings, scissors and brushes. BIO Massimo Nota (Notamax) is an artist/illustrator who lives and works in Rome. After graduating as an illustrator from the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Rome, Notamax began a collaboration with several Italian newspapers, including La Repubblica, Smemoranda, Nessuno Tocchi Caino, and Avvenimenti. His extensive production includes artwork, either on canvas, brown paper, cardboard, iron plates or wood, that (re)present an amazing arrangement of drawings, collages, acrylic paint, watercolour and paper sheets.
