KAOS Festival of Contemporary Collage in Kranj, Slovenia announces the Year of Collage

Collage artists are invited to join KAOS for a 2020 artist residency. They write, “When there is no KAOS in Kranj, the sky over the Alps has only two colours–blue and grey. But collage paints the town into all the colours of the world (and maybe also of some new world) and changes it forever.” This is why they are inviting collage artists to become part of a venture to transform Kranj into a city of collage. The Layer House offers living and working spaces for artists and the artist residency can end with an exhibition, if desired. Collage artists taking part are encouraged to work directly on the Layer House’s and the city’s walls to leave a permanent artwork.
