Waverley Collage Makers: The Innovation of Cut and Paste

at Waverley Library in Bondi Junction, New South Wales, Australia
9 December 2021-8 February 2022

“The Innovation of Cut & Paste” presents an eclectic mix of artworks by the Waverley Collage Makers. The group is comprised of artists from Waverley, Sydney and beyond who gather in person and online. The Waverley Collage Makers practise a different style of collage each week, juxtaposing images and materials, subverting meaning and honing their distinctive styles. This exhibition showcases the group’s commitment to the possibilities of collage, through a diverse, dynamic, witty and thought-provoking series of works, created against the backdrop of 2021.
