The Rainbow Show II
at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts in Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, USA
7 September-27 October 2021
“The Rainbow Show II” features over 500 small, monochromatic collages created by members of the Philadelphia CollageWorks. Experience this colorful collection of small masterpieces that are as diverse as the artists that created them. The Philadelphia CollageWorks members each created small works in the colors of the rainbow including black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple to represent the Philadelphia LGBTQ flag. “The Rainbow Show II” highlights inclusivity as well as being a symbol of unity, hope and better things to come.
Philadelphia CollageWorks was established by a group of artists in the Philadelphia area in 2019 with the goal to promote collage as a unique art form. Members include PCW founder Annie Stone, Sue Apter, Angela Arrey-Wastavino, Sandra Benhaim, Amy Brewstein, Bernadette Colburn, Rueben Das, Deborah Eater, Alicia Finger, Deena Flanagan, Wendi Furman, Danielle Gatto, Catherine Gontarek, Wendy Raskas Greenberg, Colleen Hammond, Linnie Kerrigan-Greenberg, Sandra Koberlein, Gregory Laut, Felise Luchansky, Kara Mshinda, Sharon Ostrow, John Pron, Heather Sandler, Arlene Solomon, Robb Spath, Candace Stoudt, Elsa Wachs, and Florence Weisz.
